I live in Italy and would be delighted to correspond with you about prehistoric Saharan rock art.
Currently I'm doing independent research on the Pastoral period of Tadrart Acacus. This zone of the Sahara really fascinates me. I'm endeavouring to learn what ancient Berber myths and legends can reveal about life in prehistoric times. True, most of the surviving Berber legends relate to more recent eras; yet I am sure that some of these old myths and fables do indeed preserve precious memories of that long-ago era, before the Sahara became completely arid...There are some amazing prehistoric petroglyphs in Libya which the ancient fables seem to evoke.
